Slow, weak or jerky boom, arm, slew or bucket operation can indicate low hydraulic pressure, leaking hoses or cylinders, worn pumps or control valve faults. We pressure-test the system and repair or replace components onsite or at our Brendale workshop.

If your excavator cranks slowly, will not start, starts intermittently or cuts out while operating, we can test the batteries, starter and charging system, wiring, sensors, fuel supply and engine-management system to identify the actual cause.

Loss of digging power, stalling under load or black, white or blue smoke can point to blocked air intake, turbocharger faults, worn injectors, poor fuel delivery or internal engine wear. We diagnose the cause before quoting the most suitable repair.

An excavator that tracks slowly, pulls to one side, makes unusual noises or loses travel may have a final drive, travel motor, brake or hydraulic supply fault. We test the system to determine whether repair, resealing or component replacement is required.

Blocked DPFs, EGR faults and failed pressure or temperature sensors can cause warning lights, unsuccessful regenerations, engine derates and reduced performance. We diagnose compliant emissions-system faults and replace failed components.

Worn excavator tracks, rollers, bucket pins and bushes can cause excessive movement, knocking, uneven wear and poor stability. We inspect undercarriage and linkage components, then replace worn parts onsite where suitable or at our Brendale workshop.
